Damien Smith | Founder/CEO
Damien Smith is a Florida native born in Lakeland, FL with 10 years of experience in the health care field. He started his career as a CNA during his undergrad at the University of Central Florida. He eventually graduated and became an RN and worked in various health care areas ranging from: hospital, home health, psychiatric care, and research. He was inspired to start a staffing agency when he met two other nurses during his year-long covid travel contract in the states of Louisiana and Massachusetts. These two nurses inspired him to open his own nurse staffing agency, NurseGEO, using the knowledge they gave him and the direction they continue to set forth by example. Currently, NurseGEO is the highest paying for nursing shifts in long term care facilities in Central Florida and he plans to expand his operations into the rest of Florida before the end of 2023 and going into 2024. His company employees CNAs, LPNs, RNs, ARNPs and other health care staff.
Kim Le | Creative Director
Kim is an esteemed Creative Director with a distinguished career in healthcare. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, she earned her Bachelors in Nursing from East Carolina University and later pursued a Masters in Nursing with a focus on Healthcare Organizational Leadership and Nursing Administration from Jacksonville University.
Kim's extensive professional journey encompasses a broad spectrum of healthcare settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and home health. She has demonstrated her expertise in roles such as charge nurse, assistant nurse manager, interim house supervisor, and as a preceptor for numerous nurses. Her experience spans critical areas such as the ER, Neuro ICU, rapid response, stroke team, organ transplant, specialty infusion, clinical research, case management, operating room, cardiac intermediate care unit, and endoscopy procedures.
Fluent in both Vietnamese and English, Kim brings a valuable bilingual dimension to her leadership. Beyond her clinical acumen, Kim is an accomplished publisher and showcases proficiency in graphic design and editing. Her commitment to excellence extends to various managerial capacities, making her a valuable asset in operational leadership roles. In her leisure, Kim enjoys snowboarding, meticulous home organization, and cherishing moments with friends and family. Kim's dedication, diverse skill set, and bilingual capabilities position her as a formidable professional in the healthcare landscape.
Na'Tasha Crowell | HR Generalist
Na'Tasha Crowell is a Florida native born in Ocala, Fl and comes with 4 years of recruiting experience and 2 years of social media management experience. After graduating from Seminole High School she found herself networking with DONs and C-suite executives of many healthcare agencies.
While Na'Tasha has found her love in Social Media work and HR she also takes part in many hobbies such as dance, volleyball, and ATV riding in order to keep herself balanced and connected with humanity.
Fahad Aleem | Web Developer
Fahad Aleem is a multifaceted Web Developer at NurseGEO, contributing over a year of impactful service to the company. With 18 years of extensive industry experience, he brings a unique blend of skills in IT, Web Development, Startup Consulting, Scheduling, and Staffing Agency Development. Fahad’s technical expertise and strategic insight make him an essential asset in building and refining NurseGEO’s digital presence.
Beyond his role, Fahad is a dedicated learner and active enthusiast of blogging, hiking, and reading. He continuously seeks to expand his knowledge, ensuring he stays on the cutting edge of technology and industry trends.
Kelly Yarber | Scheduling Coordinator
KellyAnn is originally from Chicago Illinois and a Valencia College Alumni. Her career path consist of administration work along with clinical.
After working as a claims adjuster KellyAnn decided to focus on becoming a licensed CNA and work as a home health aid & private duty nurse for six years. Her ultimate goal is to be apart of a team that will continue to grow professionally. KellyAnn labels her biggest achievements to be her love for God and raising her three children.
Emilyvenie Flores | HR Assistant
Emilyvenie comes from the background of office management and administration assistance in the HVAC industry. With her Notary certification she brings a sense of duality to the NurseGEO team that helps us use our in-house resources. Emilyvenie decided to take a positive incline on her career path when she first learned how Human Resources can help her make a positive impact in the work place for employees. She hopes to be able to travel and explore what the world has to offer with her daughter and family and enjoy her hiking hobbies.
